The camellia is a famous symbol of the French fashion designer Gabrielle Chanel nicknamed Coco Chanel. The story began in 1913 when she pinned one of the white blooms to her belt. The flower’s simplicity, shape, purity and ability to blossom in winter seduced her. It then appeared on her bags, clothing, jewels and shoes too.
Charlotte and Burlington are equally fond of the flower and have designed their own bag adorned with a camellia! Can you help them make it even more spectacular by colouring it in? (The colouring can be found in the floral journal page 3)
