When History Dreams

What if the past could play dress-up?

This collection imagines history waking up in a modern wardrobe. The structured silhouettes of bygone eras are not merely recreated but reimagined through the lens of childhood wonder. The Eiffel towers bloom with flowers, flags flutter as sleeves, fireworks freeze mid-burst in colored thread and sailor collars find themselves blossoming with rosebuds….

The past lends its poetry whilst the present adds its freedom allowing reality and imagination to stand close together. All of a sudden, the lines between truth and invention dissolve into something more delightful than either could be alone.

Each dress invites us to dream : What would Marie Antoinette wear to a picnic? How would the richly embroidered bodices of the 18th century translate for a girl who climbs trees? What if monuments could twirl? The answers live in these fabrics.
